Replacement of losses. Russia plans to attract 126,000 soldiers of "special contingent" in 2025 - Defense Intelligence

In 2025, to replace the losses of its occupation army in the war against Ukraine, the aggressor country of russia expects to attract at least 126,000 soldiers from the so-called "special contingent".

This is stated in the message of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As noted, these are russians who are serving sentences in prisons, are under investigation, have loan arrears and other problems.

On average, to cover the losses of the occupation army, the russian federation plans to mobilize 10,000 people of the "special contingent" every month.

In general, to replace the losses of existing military units and formations in the war against Ukraine, the russians intend to mobilize at least 280,000 people this year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on January 29 increased by 1,270 to 835,940 people, and Ukrainian defenders over the past day destroyed 4 tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles, 17 artillery systems, and 54 drones.

Earlier, fighters of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine showed how they destroy russian occupiers and their equipment on the battlefield.

Last week alone, in the area of ​​responsibility at the front, the Defense Intelligence special forces destroyed 16 enemy engineering and fortification structures and damaged another 68. The scouts successfully hit 15 units of transport of the russian invaders. They destroyed two enemy tactical-level drones and damaged two communication antennas for the occupiers' UAVs. Also, the scouts accurately hit the russian’s electronic warfare/radio/radar systems - five units were put out of action.
