Tickets for Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland sold out in 7 minutes

Thousands of tickets for the May concerts of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, which will be held in Basel (Switzerland), were sold out in just 7 minutes.

A total of 42,000 tickets were sold on Wednesday. Demand was huge. Only those who registered in advance could purchase up to four tickets for the contest.

Tickets could also be purchased for several rehearsals. They were sold out within 20 minutes.

However, everyone who registered but was unable to make a purchase will have another chance. Further rounds of sales are expected, although it is not yet known how many tickets will be received. According to the organizers, this depends on how much space is needed for sound and video equipment. However, approximately 50,000-60,000 tickets will be put on sale additionally.

Tickets cost from CHF 40 to CHF 350 (USD 44 and USD 385). The most expensive are tickets right next to the stage.

An online platform will be created later, where people who cannot attend can resell tickets.

Fan zones for public viewing will also be open, including at the large football stadium next to the St Jakobshalle arena. The stadium can accommodate about 36,000 fans.

As a reminder, according to the draw, Ukraine will perform in the first half of the first semi-final of this year's contest. The final of the National Selection, where Ukraine's Eurovision entrant will be selected, is scheduled for February 8.
