US President Donald Trump has signed more executive orders in 9 days since taking office than any other American leader in the country's history.
This is according to Axios.
Since January 20, Trump has signed 38 executive orders. This is more than any predecessor in this position.
Only the 46th US President Joseph Biden and the 33rd US President Harry Truman signed more than 40 executive orders in their first 100 days in office.

The first 9 days of Trump's term were marked not only by a "barrage" of executive orders, but also by the fact that they are unlike any other in modern presidential history.
The publication notes that Trump is restructuring the federal government, conducting a campaign of unilateral action. It will allow him to expand the boundaries of presidential power.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 20, inauguration events took place in Washington, D.C., as a result of which Donald Trump became the 47th President of the United States of America.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the Hall of Deliverance at the Capitol Visitor Center. Before that, US Presidents had been taking the oath outdoors for almost 40 years.
Earlier, we published a translation of Trump's inaugural speech, which he delivered after taking the oath.
As a reminder, the media wrote that during his inaugural speech, Trump made several false statements.
