In Kyiv, after a hostile drone attack in the Desnianskyi District, debris was recorded falling in an open area, grass and bushes caught fire, information about damage and casualties is being established, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, and the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, reported on Telegram.
"Debris was recorded falling in the Desnianskyi District in an open area, as a result of which grass and bushes caught fire. Information about damage and casualties is currently being established," Tkachenko wrote.
"In the Desnianskyi District, grass and bushes caught fire as a result of falling UAV debris. Emergency services are on the scene. Information about casualties is currently being clarified," Klitschko confirmed.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, after the night attack on Kyiv, debris from a russian UAV damaged the passageway of the Darnytskyi depot.
Also on January 29, russia attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type strike drones. In particular, air defenses in Kyiv were activated.
