166 combat clashes take place at front during day, most of them in Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk Axes

On January 26, 166 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axis was Pokrovsk, where 78 clashes took place during the day, the enemy also actively advanced on the Kramatorsk Axis (21 clashes).

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 45 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 58 guided bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out more than 5,000 shelling, including 105 from multiple rocket launcher systems, and used 2,155 kamikaze drones for destruction.

On January 26, 166 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, the russians stormed the positions of the Ukrainian troops four times near the settlement of Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk Axis, there were 11 attacks by the invaders during the day.

The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Hlushkivka and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 15 times, trying to advance near the settlements of Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Nadiya, Zelenyi Hai, Makiyivka, Yampolivka and Torske.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, 21 clashes were recorded in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk Axis, the invaders carried out nine attacks near the settlement of Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 78 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Zelene, Udachne, Kotlyne, Nadiyivka, Uspenivka, Andriyivka, Shevchenko, Dachne and Yantarne.

In the Novopavlivka Axis, the enemy attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 12 times near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Novosilka and Velyka Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv Axis, there was one unsuccessful attempt by the enemy to attack Ukrainian units in the direction of Novoandriyivka.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the enemy carried out one unsuccessful attack on the positions of Ukrainian troops, which was repulsed.

In the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation), units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled seven attacks by russian invaders over the past day.

The enemy carried out 435 artillery shelling and 25 air strikes, using 33 guided aerial bombs.

The aggressor did not conduct offensive operations in the Siversk Axis over the past day.

Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck four command posts, four areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, and another important object of the russian invaders.

In total, the losses of the russian invaders on January 26 amounted to 1,430 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 24, 211 combat clashes took place at the front, 88 of which were in the Pokrovsk Axis.
