In Prykarpattia, russia attackes critical infrastructure, fire breaks out

On the night of January 27, russian strike drones attacked the Ivano-Frankivsk Region, causing explosions. According to local authorities, the aggressor's targets were critical infrastructure facilities.

This was announced by the Telegram channel of the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Svitlana Onyshchuk and the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv on Facebook.

A fire broke out in one of the places of the attack, but there was no information about the victims as of the morning. Air defense forces successfully intercepted some of the attacks, and, according to the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, there was no damage to civilian property.

Head of the Regional State Administration Svitlana Onyshchuk thanked the air defense forces for their protection and urged residents to obey the "air alarm" signals.

At the same time, Martsinkiv clarified that the Russians were hitting both the Ivano-Frankivsk Region and the place itself.

"First of all, I would like to thank our air defense, the guys and girls who are defending us. Thank God everything worked out. The enemy was delivering a large-scale strike both in the region and tried to hit the community. But thanks to the work of the air defense, there was no damage to civilian property," he said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 24, russian occupiers attacked Antonivka, Kherson Region, with a drone, a man and a woman were injured.
