Overnight into January 26, the aggressor state of russia launched 72 Shaheds and simulator drones of various types into the territory of Ukraine. As of 9:00 a.m., the Air Defense Forces destroyed 50 UAVs in eight regions of the country, another 9 did not reach their targets.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, from 07:00 a.m. on January 25 and during the night of January 26, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 72 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - the russian federation.
As of 09:00 a.m., it was confirmed that 50 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types were shot down in the following regions:
- Kyiv,
- Odesa,
- Kharkiv,
- Poltava,
- Sumy,
- Donetsk,
- Dnipropetrovsk,
- Khmelnytskyi.
"9 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences). One UAV is in the air, combat operations continue!" the message says.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the meantime, on the night of January 26, as a result of a drone attack, an oil refinery in the Ryazan Oblast is probably on fire. Footage published on the Internet confirms a fire at the facility, but there is currently no official confirmation.
