On January 24, 211 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest were on the Pokrovsk (88 clashes) and Kramatorsk (43 clashes) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched two missile strikes using three missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 40 air strikes, dropping 56 guided aerial bombs (KABs).
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 4,000 attacks, including 155 from multiple launch rocket systems and used 1,410 kamikaze drones for destruction.
On January 24, 211 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, 2 enemy attacks were repelled near Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk axis, 14 attacks were repelled near Pishchane, Dvorichna, Hlushkivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Zelenyi Hai and Zahryzove.
On the Lyman axis, 16 attacks were repelled near the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Novoliubivka, Kopanky, Zelena Dolyna and Torske.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the invaders attacked 43 times in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Stupochky, Vasiukivka, Novomarkove and Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Krymske, Dyliivka, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 88 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Baranivka, Myroliubivka, Myrnohrad, Shevchenko, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novoyelyzavetivka, Uspenivka, Sribne, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly and Yantarne.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy carried out 3 attacks in the direction of Kostiantynopil during the past day.
On the Orikhiv axis, the occupation troops stormed the positions of the Defense Forces in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka 4 times.
On the Dnieper axis, 3 enemy attacks were repelled.
The operation is ongoing on the Kursk axis (russian federation), where the enemy launched 38 air strikes last day, dropping 50 KABs, and carried out 436 attacks, including 15 from MLRS; Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 assault actions of the invaders.
On the Siversk and Huliaipole axes last day, the enemy did not conduct active actions.
On January 24, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 11 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one command post and 11 other important enemy facilities.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers last day amounted to 1,650 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 23, 125 combat clashes took place at the front, 63 of them on the Pokrovsk axis.
