Number of injured in enemy missile strike on Zaporizhzhia rises to 54

The number of people injured in the russian missile strike on Zaporizhzhia on Thursday, January 23, has risen to 54.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"One person was killed, another 54 were injured as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia," Fedorov wrote.

According to data as of Friday morning, January 24, 17 people remain in hospitals, and doctors assess their condition as moderate.

37 injured are being treated on an outpatient basis, including a two-month-old boy who was discharged the previous evening.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of January 23, the russian army shelled Zaporizhzhia with missiles and drones, striking residential areas and infrastructure.

It was initially reported that one person was killed and 26, including a two-month-old baby, were injured.
