SOF fighters repel 8-hour assault by North Korean soldiers

Soldiers of the 8th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed a video of a battle with North Korean soldiers in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation. The North Koreans' attempt to seize Ukrainian positions lasted 8 hours.

The SOF reported this.

Ukrainian soldiers repelled the attack with small arms and grenade launchers. Snipers also worked.

According to the military, when they repelled the assault, they had only part of their ammunition. However, they managed to destroy 21 North Korean soldiers and wounded another 40.

"The operators decided to exfiltrate - a military tactic for quickly removing a group from the battlefield to a safe place. The soldiers went out in two Humvees in a coordinated manner," the SOF reported.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the entire North Korean military contingent currently in the Kursk Oblast could be killed or wounded in combat by mid-April of this year if the dynamics of their losses remains at the current level.

The DPRK military, which, together with the russians, is opposing the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk Oblast, has been executing Ukrainians who tried to surrender.
