Russian troops launched a missile strike on the Shostka community of the Sumy Region, there is damage.
The Regional Military Administration’s press service has reported this.
"Today, January 20, the enemy launched a missile strike on the Shostka community. Initially, no people were injured," the report says.
According to the Regional Military Administration, as a result of the russian attack, multi-storey residential buildings and an infrastructure facility were damaged.
At around 10:00 a.m., an air alert was declared in the Sumy Region, which lasted several hours. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of the launch of guided aerial bombs by tactical aircraft on the Sumy Region.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the Sumy Region, a UAV fell on the territory of a critical infrastructure facility, leaving 185 settlements without electricity.
Also on January 12, russian occupiers launched a drone strike on a regular bus in the Sumy District. Two passengers were injured.
On January 8, russian occupiers shelled the border areas of the Sumy Region, civilian infrastructure was damaged, and there were injuries.
