On January 19, 189 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axis was the Pokrovsk axis, where 89 clashes took place during the day, the enemy also actively attacked on the Toretsk (19 attacks) and Lyman (17 attacks) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using one missile, as well as 40 air strikes, dropping 59 KABs (guided aerial bombs).
In addition, the enemy carried out more than five thousand attacks, including 114 from multiple launch rocket systems, and attracted 2,832 kamikaze drones for destruction.

Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried three times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders near Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk axis, 13 attacks of the invaders were repelled near Stroivka, Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kutkivka, Nova Kruhliakivka and Lozova.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 17 times near Novoiehorivka, Nadiia, Novoserhiivka, Pershotravneve, Zelenyi Hai, Makiivka, Novosadove, Zarichne, Kolodiazi, Zelena Dolyna, Terny and in the Serebrianskyi Forest.
On the Siversk axis, 2 attacks were repelled in the areas of Ivano-Daryivka and Verkhniokamianske.
On the Kramatorsk axis, 7 attacks were repelled in the area of Chasiv Yar and Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Dyliivka and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Defense Forces stopped 89 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Zelene Pole, Oleksandropil, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Shevchenko, Udachne, Uspenivka, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Novotroitske, Novoandriivka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly and Yantarne.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy carried out 16 attacks in the directions of Kostiantynopil and Velyka Novosilka during the past day.
On the Orikhiv axis, the occupation troops once stormed the positions of the Defense Forces near the settlement of Novoandriivka.
On the Dnieper axis, 2 attacks were repelled.
The Defense Forces are making efforts to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory, having successfully repelled two enemy offensive actions on the Dnieper axis.
On the Huliaipole axis over the past day, the enemy did not conduct active actions.
In the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation over the past day, the enemy carried out 12 air strikes, dropping 16 KABs, and carried out 416 attacks; Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 assault actions of the invaders.
In total, over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit five areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and two enemy air defense systems.
The losses of the russian occupiers on January 19 amounted to 1,690 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 17, 174 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axis was the Pokrovsk axis, where 79 clashes occurred during the day, and the enemy was also actively advancing on the Kramatorsk axis (26 attacks).
