TikTok has begun restoring its service in the United States following the announcement of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.
This follows from a statement by the company's press service on Sunday, January 19.
"In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring service. We thank President Trump for providing the necessary clarity and assurance to our service providers that they will face no penalties providing TikTok to over 170 million Americans and allowing over 7 million small businesses to thrive. It’s a strong stand for the First Amendment and against arbitrary censorship. We will work with President Trump on a long-term solution that keeps TikTok in the United States," the statement said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the TikTok social network application stopped working in the United States on January 18.
Meanwhile, China is considering selling the American division of TikTok to billionaire Elon Musk.
Recall that in the meantime, American content creators on TikTok have begun actively encouraging their subscribers to subscribe to their channels on alternative platforms.
