Over the past week, the russian army has used about 550 strike drones, almost 60 missiles of various types, and over 660 aerial bombs against Ukraine.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He noted that over the week, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 33 missiles, including ballistic missiles, and 311 strike drones in our sky. Another 136 drones, which are used in daily strikes on infrastructure, did not reach their targets.
"More "Patriots" for Ukraine means more protection of life. More long-range for Ukraine means more guarantees that the russian war will be stopped," Zelenskyy added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of January 19, the troops of the aggressor country, the russian federation, used 61 drones to strike Ukraine, including Shahed attack drones and UAV simulators of various types, and shot down 43 of them.
In addition, during an air attack with russian ballistic missiles on January 18, the oldest McDonald's in the country near the Lukyanivska subway station in Kyiv was damaged.
