Russians complain about drone attacks in Tula and Kaluga Oblasts

On the night of January 18, unknown drones attacked the Tula Oblast of the russian federation. Meanwhile, russians complain about explosions and fires.

In particular, the Mash channel writes that UAVs attacked an oil depot in the Vuzlovsky district of this oblast. According to local residents, at least 10 explosions were heard, after which a fire broke out at the enterprise. A corresponding video was published on the network.

A little later, the Telegram SHOT published more detailed information, indicating that they tried to damage enterprises in the area of ​​​​the Didylove station, as well as an oil depot near the city of Vuzlov.

"According to SHOT, local residents reported that the explosions began at approximately 1:30 a.m., with more than 10 loud bangs heard in total. After that, a fiery glow and smoke appeared in the area of ​​industrial facilities," the report says.

A number of other channels are writing about "fires" at industrial enterprises, implying that the fire originated in more than one place. Emergency services are now reportedly working on the scene. Shortly before the explosions, a drone attack was declared in the Tula Oblast.

Later, Tula Oblast governor Dmitry Milyaev confirmed the UAV attack and the fire.

"A fuel and lubricants tanks caught fire at one of the enterprises in the oblast. Firefighters are working. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. The UAV attack danger regime in the oblast remains. Please remain calm. The situation is under control," russian Telegram channels quote Milyaev.

As a result of the attack by Ukrainian drones, a fire broke out on the territory of an industrial enterprise in the city of Lyudinovo, Kaluga Oblast. The governor of the oblast, Vladislav Shapsha, reported this in his Telegram channel.

"A task force and rescue workers are working at the scene. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," he noted.

According to Shot, the target of the attack was an oil depot in Lyudinovo. Local residents said that at about 10 p.m. they heard several explosions, after which a fire broke out in the area of ​​the oil depot.

Lyudinovo is home to the Kaluganeftoprodukt oil depot, a subsidiary of Rosneft. The facility has nine tanks with a total capacity of 6,700 cubic meters. The oil depot is used to store AI-92 and AI-95 automotive gasoline, as well as diesel fuel.
