The house where Kevin McCallister's family lived in the movie Home Alone has been sold for USD 5.5 million.

The house is located in Illinois. It is a three-story mansion built in 1921 with three bedrooms, six living rooms and a gym. It also has a small bar, a movie theater and a three-car garage.
The house became famous when in 1990 its facade was used to film the movie Home Alone.
It was initially put up for sale with a price tag of USD 5.25 million, but the new owner offered a higher price.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a resident of the house where the TV series Sex and the City was filmed and where Carrie Bradshaw lived according to the plot, wants to enclose the property with a fence because she is tired of the fans of the series.
The McCallister house is also becoming a hot topic of interest for fans. Airbnb recreated the McCallister family's home from the movie Home Alone and rented it out for one night in 2021, December 12.
