Russian troops launch missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, 4 people killed and 6 injured

On Friday afternoon, russian occupation forces attacked Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk Region) with missiles, as a result of the shelling there is damage to civilian infrastructure, currently 4 killed and 6 injured are known.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak and the State Emergency Service announced this on the Telegram messenger, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"In Kryvyi Rih, an educational institution and residential buildings were damaged as a result of the Russian attack... According to current information, four people have been killed in Kryvyi Rih. Three women and a man," the head of the Regional Military Administration wrote.

According to his information, 5 people were injured: three (a 22-year-old girl and men aged 34 and 56) were hospitalized in serious condition, two more were provided with assistance on the spot.

Lysak also reported that two five-story buildings were damaged, one of which caught fire.

A building that was not in use was also damaged.

Meanwhile, the State Emergency Service noted that a four-story building of one of the educational institutions was partially destroyed.

"Missiles also hit an open area. 2 apartment buildings and an outbuilding were damaged. A fire broke out on the fourth floor of one of the buildings," the report said.

Rescuers reported that six victims were already known.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also reacted to the enemy strike on Kryvyi Rih.

He noted that the occupiers hit the city with ballistic missiles.

"Ordinary residential buildings, an educational institution, and other city infrastructure were damaged. Unfortunately, there are casualties... My condolences to the relatives and friends," he wrote.

The President stressed that each such terrorist attack is another reminder that russia does not stop on its own - it can only be stopped by joint pressure from "everyone in the world who values ​​life."

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 24, russian occupiers fired a ballistic missile at Kryvyi Rih.

The missile damaged a 4-story residential building, trapping people under the rubble.

A 43-year-old man was killed as a result of the enemy strike, and 17 more people were injured, including 2 children.

On the night of Tuesday, December 24, the russians once again attacked the Dnipropetrovsk Region using UAVs, as well as shelling with artillery and Grad MLRS. As a result of the enemy attacks, residential buildings, a power line, and cars were damaged.

It was previously reported that law enforcement officers thwarted attempts by the aggressor country, the russian federation, to destroy the logistics of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the southeastern front.
