Russian army occupies 3 more settlements in Donetsk Region – DeepState

On the night of January 17, the DeepState analytical project reported on the occupation of three settlements by russian troops in the Donetsk Region.

In particular, according to analysts, russian troops occupied the villages of Pishchane, Slovianka and Yasenove, located south of Pokrovsk.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, analysts of the Ukrainian OSINT project DeepState claim that the situation in Toretsk, Donetsk Region, is unfavorable for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to them, the central part of the city is allegedly almost completely controlled by the occupiers.

Earlier, DeepState reported that the Ukrainian military has regained control over the settlement of Shevchenko in the Pokrovsk District of the Donetsk Region. Meanwhile, russian troops occupied the village of Zelene and advanced into several other settlements in the region.

Meanwhile, the russian army occupied Neskuchne, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces regained their position near Uspenivka.
