In the Kursk Oblast, in early January, an aerial bomb fell from a russian plane on the yard of a police major's house. The bomb did not explode, but formed a crater.

Thus, on January 2, the russians dropped an aerial bomb on the yard of a house in the village of Sergeevka, Lgov district, Kursk Oblast. Previously, the bomb fell.
Local residents told the publication that a police major lives in the house in the yard of which the bomb fell. It is noted that the aerial bomb did not explode, a crater formed on the spot. There were no casualties.
In total, the publication became aware of at least 165 cases of guided aerial bombs falling in russia and in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by Russia in 2024, as well as 4 in 2025.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in late December, the aggressor state of russia dropped 2 more aerial bombs near residential buildings in the Belgorod Oblast, as a result of which more than 150 residents were evacuated.
