On the night of January 14, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out the most massive strike on the military facilities of the occupiers at a distance from 200 to 1,100 km deep into the aggressor country of russia.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Targets in the Bryansk, Saratov, Tula Oblasts and the Republic of Tatarstan were hit," the report says.
In particular, it is noted that the Kristal Oil Products Plant in Engels, Saratov Oblast, was again successfully attacked, where a fire that had lasted 5 days after the previous strike had just been extinguished, was successfully reignited by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces and the Defense Intelligence.
Also, the Bryansk Chemical Plant in the city of Seltso was hit - a strategic facility of the russian military-industrial complex, where ammunition for barrel artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, aviation, engineering ammunition and components of the Kh-59 cruise missiles are manufactured. A secondary detonation was observed on the territory of the plant, which lasted several hours. In addition, two enemy anti-aircraft missile systems - Tor and Buk - were destroyed during the attack.
Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, Missile Forces, Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the Defense Intelligence the Ministry of Defense and the Security Service of Ukraine were involved in the implementation of this combat mission.
In addition, units of the Defense Intelligence and the SSU hit strategic facilities of the russian military-industrial complex - the Saratov Oil Refinery and the Kazanorgsintez plant, and a fire broke out at both facilities.
The General Staff notes that targeted and systematic work to destroy facilities that provide the russian occupation army with ammunition, military equipment, and fuel and lubricants will continue until the armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 14, the command of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a strike on a russian chemical plant near Bryansk.
The 14th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Aviation Complexes of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a repeated attack on the infrastructure of the russian military airfield Engels-2 in the Saratov Oblast (russia), where Tu-95MS and Tu-160 aircraft are based.
Russian Telegram channels reported that on the night of January 14, drones attacked the Orgsintez chemical plant in Kazan, Russia, causing a large-scale fire.
