In the Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv Regions bordering the terrorist state, border guards continue to record attempts by russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter.
The spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andrii Demchenko, has reported this.
"We do not observe significant activity by enemy sabotage groups, but the enemy does not give up sabotage activities, and in the direction of the Sumy Region, and in the direction of the Kharkiv and Chernihiv Regions, we see that attempts by sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter remain. Our task is to expose them in time and inflict damage on them in order to knock them out of our territory," he noted.
Earlier, the State Border Guard Service said that the Sumy Region is the "most popular" for russian special forces. Russian saboteurs do not abandon attempts to break through the border there.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in December, russian special forces began to attack the northern border with the russian federation more often, but there is no threat of an offensive.
In September, it was reported that russian special forces began to engage in combat with Ukrainian military personnel in the Sumy Region less often.
