Rada wants to simplify imposition of absentee fines by territorial recruitment and social support centers

The Verkhovna Rada intends to simplify the imposition of absentee fines by territorial recruitment and social support centers.

In total, 270 parliamentarians voted for the adoption of bill No. 12093 on January 9, with the minimum required 226.

It is proposed to amend Article 258 of the Code of Administrative Offenses on cases when a protocol on an administrative offense is not drawn up.

A protocol is not drawn up in the case of committing administrative offenses regarding military registration and mobilization during a special period, the consideration of which is attributed to the competence of the territorial recruitment and social support centers, if the person has filed a corresponding application in which he does not dispute the committed violation and agrees to be held administratively liable in his absence

It is assumed that the return of a territorial recruitment and social support center’s summons with notes of non-delivery or refusal to receive is a basis for not drawing up a protocol, but immediately issuing a resolution on an absentee fine.

The territorial recruitment and social support centers will be able to immediately issue a resolution on a fine, without the need to draw up a protocol, after the return of an undelivered summons by Ukrposhta.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada intends to provide citizens with the opportunity to pay half of the fine for failing to clarify their military registration data.
