The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 42 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 58 guided aerial bombs (KABs), one missile strike using one missile.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 6,000 attacks, including 126 from MLRSes.
On January 12, 140 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, 4 assaults were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Kozacha Lopan.
On the Kupiansk axis, 8 attacks by the invaders near Petropavlivka and Pishchane were repelled during the day.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 12 times near the settlements of Kopanky, Synkivka, Pershotravneve, Makiivka, Tverdokhlibove, Terny and Zarichne.
On the Kramatorsk axis, 15 clashes were recorded in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 13 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Bila Hora and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 58 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Promin, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novovasylivka, Sribne, Petropavlivka, Novoandriivka, Dachne, Shevchenko and Yantarne.
On the Novopavlivka axis, 9 attacks were repelled near the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Neskuchne, Vremivka and Rivnopol.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy conducted one unsuccessful assault.
In the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation), units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 17 attacks by russian invaders over the past day; the enemy carried out 443 artillery attacks, launched 14 air strikes, using 16 guided aerial bombs.
On other axes over the past day, the aggressor did not conduct active operations.
Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit one command post, five air defense systems, two ammunition depots, six artillery systems and three other important targets of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders for January 12 amounted to 1,510 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 10, 213 combat clashes took place at the front, a third of which were on the Pokrovsk axis (72 clashes), and the situation was also tense on the Lyman (39 clashes) and Kramatorsk (32 clashes) axes.
