Klitschko hands over to fighters of 3rd Assault Brigade bus converted into mobile school for training in drone control

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko handed over to the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine a bus converted into an autonomous and mobile school for training drone operators. This unique project was implemented by the capital's motor transport company.

Klitschko reported this on his Telegram channel and showed photos.

"I handed over from the Kyiv community to the fighters of the Third Assault Brigade a modernly equipped mobile school for training in FPV drone control. As part of the city program "Defender of Kyiv", the KP Autotransport Enterprise of the City of Kyiv implemented such a project for the first time - it renovated and converted an old MAZ bus into a mobile school," Vitali Klitschko reported.

He noted that the uniqueness of the bus lies in the autonomy of the equipment thanks to a powerful generator. This allows the training center to function anywhere without a stationary power grid.

According to Klitschko, inside the bus there were 9 workplaces, a sofa, a large TV for demonstrating educational materials, a coffee machine and a kitchenette.

"The project was implemented in several stages, since the bus was not at all new. The metal structure was completely replaced, the electrical system was updated, and the design was done. Artists painted the bus, and the furniture and branded materials were made to order. We continue to help our defenders!" Vitali Klitschko emphasized.

As reported, in 2024, Kyiv allocated almost UAH 10 billion from its budget to support the Defense Forces. This is the largest amount among all regions.
