In previous years, articles about Ukraine or Taras Shevchenko usually took first place. Our contemporary topped the top articles of the Ukrainian Wiki for the first time. In 2022, the most popular article was about the russian invasion, and in 2019, about the transition of church communities to the OCU. In previous years, the most popular articles about Ukrainian contemporaries were articles about Volodymyr Zelenskyy (in 2019) and Oleksii Arestovych (in 2022).

Over the past three years, the popularity of articles about the anthem of Ukraine, about Kyivan Rus, or about Lviv has increased. Articles about the russian-Ukrainian war have been added to them.

The following articles became popular:

  • Armed Forces of Ukraine,
  • 3rd Separate Assault Brigade,
  • 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade,
  • Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
  • Azov Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine,
  • Military ranks of Ukraine,
  • F-16 Fighting Falcon.

Among contemporaries, the most popular were articles about Zelenskyy, singer Klavdia Petrivna, and writer Lina Kostenko.
