The Verkhovna Rada has obliged state-owned enterprises and state-owned companies to publish financial statements for the period of martial law.
The relevant bill No. 6013 was adopted in the second reading on January 9, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The document stipulates that state-owned enterprises, business companies, in the authorized capital of which more than 50% belong to the state or another business company, in the authorized capital of which more than 50% belong to the state, must publish annual financial statements and annual consolidated financial statements together with the relevant audit reports in full within six months from the date of entry into force of this law for the entire period of non-publication of statements.
At the same time, state-owned enterprises and companies in the defense-industrial complex are exempted from the effect of this norm for the period of martial law.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, after the start of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, all Ukrainian companies were allowed not to publish their reports for the period of martial law and three months after its end.
