The number of wounded of the russian strike with guided aerial bombs on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 113 people.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs and the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov announced this on Telegram, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Zaporizhzhia. According to updated information, there are currently 113 injured and 13 people killed by Russia. Among the injured is a girl born in 2011," the Ministry of Interior Affairs said.
36 vehicles were damaged, including a tram and 2 minibuses, 3 administrative buildings and a residential high-rise building.
Police registered 163 statements from citizens.
Fedorov specified that as of now 59 people have been hospitalized, 10 of them in serious condition.
According to the National Police, on January 8 at 3:40 p.m., the russians launched two strikes with FAB-500 guided bombs on a gathering of people near the administrative part of one of the industrial enterprises and the roadway.
The building and vehicles were set on fire.
The State Emergency Service reported that a fire in an administrative building with an area of 800 sq.m. and 3 cars has now been extinguished.
On Thursday, a day of mourning was declared in the Zaporizhzhia Region for those killed in an enemy attack on the city.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 8 at about 3:40 p.m., russian occupation forces launched a double strike with guided bombs on the industrial infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia.
Later, the police reported that the russians used two 500-kilogram FAB-500 bombs to strike Zaporizhzhia. They were launched by russian army tactical aircraft and hit a crowd of people.
On December 10, russia attacked Zaporizhzhia with a ballistic missile, killing 11 people.
