On January 6, 218 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest was in the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation) - 94 clashes and in the Pokrovsk Axis - 41 clashes.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 64 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 95 guided aerial bombs, and used 2,700 kamikaze drones.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 5,000 attacks, 163 of them - from MLRS.
On January 6, 218 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, Ukrainian troops repelled 3 enemy attacks in the Vovchansk area.
In the Kupyansk Axis, 4 attacks by the occupiers were repelled near the settlements of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Topoli and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 13 times near Nadiya, Pershotravneve, Terny, Yampolivka, Zarichne and Makiyivka.
In the Siversk Axis, the enemy attacked twice near the settlement of Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, 5 clashes were recorded in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora and in the direction of Stupochky.
In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out 8 attacks near Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, 41 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor were repelled in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Ukrainka, Yasenove, Novoyelyzavetivka, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud and Pokrovsk.
In the Kurakhove Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 26 attacks near Slovianka, Sribne, Andriyivka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne.
In the Vremivka Axis, the enemy carried out 13 offensive actions in the areas of Konstantynopol, Yantarne, Dachne and Konstantynopolske.
In the Orikhiv Axis, one enemy attack was repelled near the settlement of Novodanylivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi Axis, 2 attacks of russian invaders were repelled.
In the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation), units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 94 attacks of russian invaders over the past 24 hours.
In addition, the enemy carried out 9 air strikes using guided bombs in this Axis, and also carried out 372 artillery shelling of troop positions and settlements.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 12 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, two radar stations, two air defense systems, as well as another important object of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on January 6 amounted to 1,970 people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 5, 184 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest of which was in the Pokrovsk Axis (51 clashes) and in the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation) - 47 clashes.
