Moldovan football club Dacia Buiucani has made an extraordinary offer to star Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo to continue his career. The club, which is currently in penultimate place in the Moldovan championship, has published an official statement inviting the five-time Ballon d'Or winner to join the team.
The corresponding post was published on the club's Facebook page.
"Cristiano Ronaldo did not extend his contract with Al Nassr and will be available for offers this winter. We believe that our club is the best solution to continue his playing career," the club said in a statement.
Among the advantages, the Moldovan club noted the similarity of the club colors with the Portuguese's previous teams, and also offered him the position of international brand ambassador of the academy or coach of children's teams after his career.
Dacia Buiucani is in seventh place out of eight teams after 14 rounds of the Moldovan championship. The 38-year-old Ronaldo's current contract with Saudi Al Nassr runs until mid-2025.
As previously reported, Cristiano Ronaldo is considering ending his career.
