Analysts of the Ukrainian project DeepState stated that the army of the aggressor country of russia allegedly advanced through the Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions. It is claimed that they managed to capture three settlements.
This is evidenced by a message in the Telegram channel of DeepState.
According to analysts, the new advance of the russians was recorded in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Toretsk and Kurakhove Axes.
Kupyansk Axis
OSINT analysts reported that in the Kupyansk Axis, russian troops allegedly captured the settlement of Lozova.
This settlement is located a little less than 30 km south of Kupyansk and 15 km north of the village of Borova.

Lyman Axis
In the Lyman Axis, the occupiers allegedly occupied the settlement of Ivanivka on the administrative border of the Luhansk and Donetsk Regions.

Toretsk Axis
Heavy fighting continues in the urban area of Toretsk. Analysts said that the russians managed to occupy a number of buildings in the Zabalka neighborhood in the southern part of the town.

Kurakhove Axis
According to the DeepState, in this section of the front, the russians occupied the settlement of Shevchenko. It is located northwest of Kurakhove.

There is no official confirmation or denial of this information as of now.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 6, Ukrainian journalist Yurii Butusov said that further defense of positions west of Kurakhove makes no sense, as it will lead to high losses.
As a reminder, on the morning of January 6, it became known that russian troops had advanced into two settlements south of the town of Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region.
