Russian military personnel losses on January 5 increased by 1,550 to 798,040, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 14 tanks, 45 armored combat vehicles, 62 artillery systems and 178 drones over the past day.
This was stated in a message from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Thus, the enemy lost 14 tanks (total - 9,700), 45 armored combat vehicles (total - 20,164), 62 artillery systems (total - 21,665), 1 unit of rocket artillery (total - 1,258), 116 units of automotive equipment and tankers (total - 33,056), 4 units of special equipment (total - 3,681), 178 drones (total - 21,625) and 2 air defense systems (total - 1,034) per day.
Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 3,006 cruise missiles, 369 aircraft, 331 helicopters, 28 ships/boats and 1 submarine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on January 3 increased by 1,510 to 794,760 people, and equipment losses increased by 1 helicopter, 23 armored vehicles, and 23 artillery systems.
