On Sunday, January 5, queues were observed at the Krakovets checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border due to the accumulation of traffic.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported this on its Telegram channel.
"Attention, citizens crossing the Ukrainian-Polish border at the Krakovets checkpoint. There is an accumulation of vehicles entering and leaving Ukraine," the message says.
Citizens are asked to take the information into account and choose less busy checkpoints to cross the border.
We remind you that the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine previously reported that after December 31, passenger traffic on the Ukrainian-Polish border decreased. However, the traffic flow may increase in the first week of 2025.
Besides, on the eve of the weekend, an accumulation of cars leaving Ukraine was also observed at three checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border.
