In December, Ukrainian military attacked over 54,000 russian targets with drones – Syrskyi

In December, UAV operators of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit over 54,000 targets of the russian occupiers.

Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi has reported this.

"Almost half of this result - 49% - was provided by kamikaze drones," he noted.

According to Syrskyi, there is a further increase in the number of unmanned systems used on the battlefield. In particular, the russians have increased the share of attack UAVs with a fiber-optic control channel, which pose a threat to military equipment during its movement.

"However, we are not standing still and have also begun to use FPV drones on fiber optics, which expands the possibilities for defeating and destroying Russian military equipment and personnel," he wrote.

As Syrskyi noted, the highest performance was demonstrated by the units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the 46th Airmobile Brigade, 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade, 28th Mechanized Brigade, 35th Marine Brigade and 3rd Assault Brigade.

We will remind, out of the 103 Shaheds with which the russians attacked at night, 61 were shot down, another 42 were lost in location.

In addition, 8,755 foreign-made components were used in the composition of 103 Shaheds.
