Russia complains about massive drone attack, explosions heard at military airfields

On January 5, the russian federation was massively attacked by drones, the occupiers complained about a massive air strike by 61 drones.

The largest number of drones was recorded in the Rostov Oblast, explosions also thundered in Taganrog and the Millerovo airfield. Previously, there were no casualties as a result of the drone attack. The enemy also closed the Kazan airport.

The drone attack on the Rostov Oblast was confirmed by local governor Yury Slyusar on Telegram. He said that the drones targeted the north of the Rostov Oblast, where the air strike is still being repelled.

"In the north of the Rostov Oblast, air defense forces and means are repelling the enemy's air attack. UAVs were destroyed in the Millerovo and Tarasovo districts. According to operational data, there are no casualties," the official wrote.

On the night of January 5, explosions were heard in some cities of the Rostov Oblast (russia). In particular, explosions were reported in the Taganrog, Tarasovka and Millerovo areas, where a military airfield is located.

At the same time, local residents are reporting on the Internet about a powerful drone attack on Taganrog. The military airfield in Millerovo was also hit.

"Due to the falling debris of UAVs in Taganrog and the village of Novobessergenevka, Neklinovsky District, property of citizens was damaged: windows were broken, roofs and walls of residential buildings were cut, and cars were also damaged," Slyusar added later, noting that "there were no injuries or fires on the ground."
