The situation at the front remains difficult and tense. The enemy, despite the significant losses inflicted on it by our defenders, continues to attempt to break through the defense of the Ukrainian troops.
In total, 107 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of the day.
This is stated in the text of the daily operational update of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, enemy artillery shelling from russian territory affected the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Pokrovka, Yastrubshchyna, Luhivka on the Sumy Region; Tymofiivka, Vidrodzhenske of the Kharkiv Region.
On the Kharkiv axis, today, russian occupiers twice stormed the defensive lines of the Ukrainian army in the Starytsia area, our defenders repelled one attack by the russians, another battle is ongoing. In addition, the enemy launched air strikes on the settlements of Mali Prokhody, Vovchanski Khutory and Okhrymivka.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy actively advanced on the positions of our units on the area of the settlement of Zahryzove three times.
Today, on the Lyman axis, the invading army carried out 11 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Pershotravneve, Nadiya, Novoserhiivka, Makiivka, Novoiehorivka, Yampolivka, Terny, Hryhorivka and in the Serebrianskyi Forest. Four clashes are still ongoing.
On the Kramatorsk axis, our defenders repelled seven enemy attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Klishchiivka and Stupochky, one clash is still ongoing.
On the Toretsk axis, the russians tried to displace our units from the occupied positions in the areas of Toretsk, Dyliivka and Shcherbynivka, where the Defense Forces repelled five russian assaults, and two more clashes are currently ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has already made 30 attempts to push our defenders from their occupied positions in the areas of Myrne, Tymofiivka, Baranivka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Pishchane, Shevchenko, Solone, Novoolenivka, Kotlyne and Novovasylivka. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have so far repelled 22 enemy attacks. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
Fighting continues near Sribne, Petropavlivka, Kostiantynopil, Kurakhove and Dachne on the Kurakhove axis. According to updated information, nine attacks by the occupation army have been repelled today, five attacks are still ongoing.
Two attacks by the invaders are ongoing on the Vremivka axis, and the enemy has made 11 attempts to advance near Dachne and Yantarne today. The enemy launched an air strike on Temyrivka and Burlatske, dropping eight guided aerial bombs.
On the Orikhiv axis, our defenders successfully repelled one enemy attempt to advance in the area of the settlement of Novodanylivka.
In the Kursk Oblast, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks by the invaders, five clashes are ongoing. In addition, the enemy launched four air strikes with nine guided bombs and carried out 140 artillery attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.
On the Siversk, Dnieper and Huliaipole axes, the enemy did not conduct active operations.
