Cyber experts of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked the russian company RegionTransService. It ensures the operation of the russian railway.

According to sources, the intelligence carried out the operation on the birthday of the head of the Defense Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov.
RegionTransService LLC is a leading service company for servicing freight cars, which, among other things, ensures the activities of the russian occupation army.
Sources report that on January 4, as a result of a cyberattack, all the company’s servers were destroyed, workstations were disabled, and backups were erased. In total, 78 servers and 211 workstations were affected.
RegionTransService provides a full range of services at all stages of the car's life cycle: from accepting new cars at the manufacturing plant with their registration with the railway, fulfilling all maintenance regulations and disposing of cars. It is noted that this LLC is one of the key companies that ensures the activities of russian Railways, and therefore the transportation of military cargo for conducting military operations against Ukraine.
