Russian troops shell 12 settlements in Donetsk Region over day, 5 people injured

Russian occupation troops shelled 12 settlements in the Donetsk Region over the past day, January 3, as a result of which 5 people were injured, including a two-year-old child.

The Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk Region announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Over the past day, the Donetsk Region’s police recorded 2,934 cases of russian shelling along the front line and residential areas.

Russian troops attacked the cities of Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, Toretsk, the village of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, the villages of Bahatyr, Zvirove, Ivanopillia, Kindrativka, Kryvorizhzhia, Novodmytrivka.

60 civilian objects were destroyed, including 44 residential buildings.

Thus, the invaders dropped a FAB-250 aerial bomb with an UMPK module on Sloviansk - they wounded three adults and a two-year-old boy, damaged 18 private houses and a civilian car.

One civilian was injured as a result of the shelling of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, an apartment building was damaged.

The russians covered the city of Lyman with artillery - they damaged 2 apartment buildings and 3 private houses.

In Ivanopillia, there are three houses damaged.

In Kostiantynivka, 4 private houses, three power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged as a result of the shelling.

The enemy hit Novodmytrivka with a FAB-250 bomb - 9 private houses were destroyed.

In Pokrovsk, 2 apartment buildings were damaged by the enemy shelling.

In Kryvorizhzhia, the invaders shelled with drones, damaging a farm.

Two private homes were damaged in the village of Bahatyr.

The police and the SSU opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 2, the occupiers shelled 9 settlements in the Donetsk Region, killing one person.
