President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with the Council for the Support of Entrepreneurship.
The meeting was attended by leaders and owners of leading Ukrainian companies from various sectors of the economy, including pharmaceuticals, logistics, agro-industry, energy and others, the official portal of the Head of State reports.
At the meeting, in particular, Halyna Hereha (Epicenter), Maksym Tymchenko (DTEK), Serhii Tihipko (TAS), Viktor Ivanchyk (Astarta), Andrii Zdesenko (Biosphere), Iryna Chechotkina (Rozetka), Viacheslav Steshenko (KLO), Serhii Polituchyi (Factor group), Dmytro Oliinyk (Federation of Employers), Kostiantyn Yefymenko (Biopharma), Iryna Terek (architectural bureau Terekh.group), Hennadii Butkevych (ATB, BGV), Taras Panasenko (Aurora), Vasyl Rakhmailov (Jaguar) and other businessmen were noticed.
The President thanked those present for preserving their enterprises and continuing to work in Ukraine.
"Of course, for us, preserving jobs is not just abstract things. It gives us the opportunity to survive in this war. And again, this is not for the sake of eloquence, but because I understand: only motivated people can achieve peace in Ukraine," Zelenskyy emphasized.
He also noted that the state is doing everything possible to strengthen air defense and bring about a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
During the meeting, a number of specific issues related to various areas were discussed. In particular, the issue was the continuation of the work of the "Made in Ukraine" economic platform. Entrepreneurs noted the effect of the implementation of this initiative and proposed expanding it to the security and defense sector.
The President emphasized that the voiced proposals will be processed by the relevant state departments.
"I really want us to be in a strong position in one or another format of negotiations with certain "comrades". We will still be in a normal position, but I want us to be more confident. This confidence will affect the outcome of the end of the war," Zelenskyy added.
