A russian agent who filmed videos of "hits" in Mykolaiv for stories on russian television was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
The SSU press service announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"According to the evidence base of the Security Service, another FSB agent who operated in Mykolaiv was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property," the report says.
According to the investigation, she filmed the consequences of russian strikes on the city, and sent the finished videos to prepare stories for one of the kremlin mouthpieces, RIA Novosti.
Among the locations she filmed were two industrial facilities that the enemy attacked with kamikaze drones in 2023.
"As the investigation established, the person in question worked for the FSB through the traitor Serhii Lebedev (known under the pseudonym "Lokhmatyi"), who is hiding in Donetsk. There he works for the Russian special service under the guise of a freelance correspondent for RIA Novosti," the SSU press service reported.
From the received video files, Lebedev edited fake stories for the kremlin's information resource, in which he tried to discredit the Defense Forces before an international audience.
SSU officers detained the russian agent at her place of residence in August 2023.
During the search, a mobile phone with evidence of work in the russian federation was seized from her.
The court found the perpetrator guilty under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to the evidence base of the Security Service of Ukraine, the real term imprisonment – 15 years of imprisonment – was received by a TPP employee - one of the participants in the russian military intelligence agent network, which was engaged in adjusting the enemy's missile strikes on Dnipro.
We will remind, in Mykolaiv, a local electrician installed surveillance cameras in the port, through which the occupiers spied.
