Italian government approves continuation of military aid to Ukraine

The Italian government has approved the continuation of military aid to Ukraine in connection with the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country russia.

As the ANSA agency reported, the country's government adopted the relevant law on December 23.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of Giorgia Meloni approved the law, which contains urgent provisions on the extension of the permit for the transfer of military equipment, materials and equipment," the report says.

The agency recalled that in the summer of 2025, a conference on the recovery of Ukraine from the consequences of a full-scale war will be held in Italy.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in early December, Reuters informed, citing sources, that Italy was preparing the 10th package of military aid to Ukraine. Its content was classified.

Recall that earlier this year it became known that Italy was going to transfer a SAMP/T air defense system to Ukraine by the end of September.

We also reported that previously, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated that Rome is ready to join the peacekeeping mission, the sending of which to Ukraine is currently being discussed in Europe.
