As of 6:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, russia had not deployed its warships to the Black and Azov Seas.
The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"There are no enemy ships in the Black Sea; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; 8 enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, 3 of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 25 missiles," the message says.
Over the past day, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in the interests of the russian federation:
- to the Sea of Azov - 6 vessels, 1 of which moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
- no ships headed to the Black Sea.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the morning of December 21, russia kept 3 ships on combat duty in the Black Sea - carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles; there were no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
