A large-scale failure of state registers has occurred in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Justice announced this on its Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"We understand how important access to state registers and services is for each of you, and we sincerely apologize for the temporary inconvenience. Unfortunately, we have encountered a serious challenge - a large-scale failure at the level of the network infrastructure serving the registers. We are well aware of how this may affect your plans and affairs. We want to assure you that the team of specialists of the State Enterprise National Information Systems is working in an intensified mode, making every effort to restore the operation of all services as soon as possible. Data security is our top priority!" the Ministry of Justice reported.
Work to eliminate problems at the network infrastructure level continues, in connection with which the Unified and State Registers, the creation and maintenance of which falls within the competence of the Ministry of Justice, as well as the websites of the Ministry of Justice, the State Enterprise National Information Systems and the call center will be unavailable until the end of the day.
"We understand that every hour of waiting can be critical for your cases, so we are doing everything possible to promptly resolve the situation. We will immediately inform you about the restoration of the systems or the terms required for restoration. Thank you for your understanding, support and patience in this difficult time," the Ministry of Justice noted.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in Ukraine they want to criminalize work with registers.
