"President-elect Donald Trump said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should be ready to make a deal with russian president vladimir putin to end the nearly three-year war in Ukraine. "We need to make a deal," Trump said at a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
However, Trump did not answer whether he believed that Ukraine should cede territory to russia to end the war. In his opinion, some of the battlefields resemble the times of the American Civil War of 1861-1865, and it will take centuries to restore the destroyed lands.
