Ukraine sharply increased the volume of electricity imports this day, compared to the previous working day.
It was reported by Ukrenergo on Monday, December 16.
Thus, today imports will be from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova with a total volume of 21,226 MW/h. At the same time, the volume of imports on the previous working day - on Friday, December 13 - was 13,447 MW/h.
It is also reported that electricity consumption corresponds to seasonal indicators. This morning its level was 1.5% higher than on Friday.
Energy experts added that the Ukrainian power system is currently continuing to recover after twelve massive attacks by russians since the beginning of this year, and there is a significant capacity deficit in it. Emergency repairs are underway at power facilities. Outage schedules are also used.
Meanwhile, new hourly power outage schedules will come into effect from today. We remind you that in order to introduce uniform principles for applying hourly power outage schedules in all regions of Ukraine, Ukrenergo has updated the "Instructions on the Preparation and Application of Hourly Power Outage Schedules."
