Russian troops in Syria lack drinking water and food. The withdrawal of the russian contingent from remote areas of Syria continues. On some routes, the troops of the aggressor country of the russian federation are accompanied by armed groups opposing the Assad regime.
This is stated in the message of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to Defense Intelligence, there are rumors circulating among russian soldiers that moscow has agreed to maintain its presence at the Syrian bases in Tartus and Khmeimim - the number of which is up to three thousand servicemen. Problems with drinking water and food have been recorded at the indicated bases, as well as on russian ships in the region.
The remnants of the aggressor state group are waiting for military transport aircraft involved in the evacuation, which are supposed to deliver food.
On December 14, 2024, two An-124-100 and two Il-76MD flights were scheduled from Chkalovsk to Khmeimim.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Defense of the terrorist country russia has begun evacuating troops from Syria. This is indicated by satellite images published by Maxar Technologies and Planet Labs.
