The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the offensive of the russian occupiers. Terrorists continue to destroy Ukrainian cities and villages with missile, air and artillery strikes.
This is stated in the daily operational report from the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the text of which is posted on Facebook.
The Defense Forces are taking measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. At this time, 166 combat clashes have taken place.
Today, the communities of the settlements of Huta Studenetska, Halahanivka, Berylivka, Mykolaivka, Tymonovychi in the Chernihiv Region; Dmytrivka in the Sumy Region were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire. An airstrike was carried out on the settlement of Oleksandrivka in the Chernihiv Region.
In the Kupyansk Axis, the russian occupiers twice attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in the Lozova area.
In the Lyman Axis, the invading army carried out 11 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Pershotravneve, Zelenyi Hai, Kopanky, Novoserhiivka, Nadiya, Makiyivka and Terny during the day. Three clashes are still ongoing.
The occupiers' troops continue to look for weak points in our defense near Verkhniokamyanske, Bilohorivka, Spirne, Viyimka and Berestove in the Siversk Axis. The Defense Forces successfully repelled eight enemy attacks, three clashes are ongoing. In addition, the enemy launched air strikes with four guided bombs in the Siversk and Hryhorivka areas.
In the Toretsk Axis, our defenders repelled five enemy assault actions in the area of the Toretsk settlement. In addition, the enemy launched air strikes with six guided aerial bombs in the areas of the settlements of Krymske and Petrivka.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, the russian invaders made 19 attempts to push our defenders from the occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud and Novoolenivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the onslaught and repelling 17 enemy attacks, two clashes are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy launched air strikes with two guided bombs in the areas of the settlements of Stara Mykolaivka and Nova Poltavka.
In the Kurakhove Axis, the enemy army attacked 28 times in the direction of the settlements of Sontsivka, Stari Terny, Zoria, Kurakhove, Lysivka, Yelyzavetivka, Hannivka and Uspenivka. Nineteen attempts by the invaders to advance have already been repelled.
In the Vremivka Axis, the enemy tried 19 times to break through the defenses of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Trudove, Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopolske, Rozdolne, Novyi Komar, Novoandriivka; so far, 11 clashes have been taking place, in addition, the enemy dropped two guided aerial bombs on the areas of Temyrivka and Novopil.
In the Huliaipole Axis, the enemy launched air strikes with unguided missiles on the Huliai Pole area.
Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne were hit by aerial guided bombs on the Orikhiv Axis.
In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the enemy launched air strikes with unguided missiles on the Mykolaivka area.
In the Kursk Axis, 45 clashes have taken place since the beginning of the day, 26 of which are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out seven air strikes, dropping ten guided bombs and carrying out 212 artillery attacks on russian settlements and the positions of our defenders.
