At least 165 civilians were killed in Ukraine in November, including 8 children.
This is stated in the report of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.
During November, 887 people were injured. 57 of the injured were children.
"Although the number of casualties in November was lower than in October, it was significantly higher than in November 2023 (113 dead; 363 injured)," the report says.
The vast majority of civilian casualties (93%) occurred in territory controlled by Ukraine.
According to the UN, 65 Ukrainians were killed and 372 were injured as a result of the use of long-range weapons (missiles and ammunition) by the russians. Civilian casualties from missiles and unguided munitions were recorded in 11 regions of Ukraine.
It is noted that in the Kherson Region, civilians were killed and injured almost daily due to drone attacks.
In total, 12,340 civilians have been killed since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, and another 27,836 have been injured to varying degrees.
Recall that on December 10, the russians struck the center of Zaporizhzhia, killing 8 people.
