In November 2024, consumer prices increased by 1.9%.
This was announced by the State Statistics Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Including, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages in November increased by 3.9%, for clothing and footwear - decreased by 2.2%, for housing and utility services - increased by 0.2%, for services related to healthcare - increased by 0.6%, for education - increased by 0.1%.
Compared to November 2023, in November 2024, consumer prices increased by 11.2%.
In January-November 2024, inflation was 10.4%.
In November 2024, the core consumer price index increased by 1.2%.
In January-November 2024, the core consumer price index increased by 9.3%.
Core inflation is a subindex of the consumer price index.
Core CPI (core inflation) is a part of inflation that reflects the dynamics of free prices without taking into account items whose prices are affected by administrative and seasonal factors.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in October, inflation was 1.8%, core inflation was 1.3%.
In 2023, inflation was recorded at 5.1%, in 2022 - at 26.6%, in 2021 - at 10.0%, in 2020 - at 5.0%, in 2019 - at 4.1%.
In 2023, core inflation was 4.9%.
The state budget for 2024 foresees an increase in consumer prices (December to December of the previous year) of 9.7%.
