The world's first battle of sea drones with planes and helicopters demonstrated that the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) is defeating the enemy in the battle for the Black Sea.
This is what political scientist, former MP Oleksandr Chernenko writes about, commenting on fresh footage of the defeat of russian helicopters by the Service's sea drones.
The expert emphasizes that for the first time in the world, sea drones have hit planes and helicopters. "The Service has become a generator of new military and technical ideas in the war. Ukrainian development was ahead of its time - the methodology of its application is currently being studied by leading special services, navies and armies around the world. I am sure that after the defeat of helicopters and aircraft, the world will pay even more attention to naval drones. After all, they have completely changed the course of the war in the Black Sea: now not only russian ships, but also the air force cannot feel at ease. At the same time, naval drones are hundreds of times cheaper than russian ships and helicopters," the former MP emphasizes.
The political scientist emphasizes that in addition to helicopters and aircraft, a barge carrying equipment for the repair of the Crimea bridge was hit. "The russians still cannot fully repair the bridge after the Service's strikes. Now, thanks to the new strike, the repair will be even more delayed," Chernenko believes.
"I have repeatedly come across statements on enemy TV channels that the russians have supposedly already adapted to the SSU's sea drones. But Maliuk's team is constantly modernizing its weapons. As soon as the russians think that the worst is behind them, they are destroyed with new improved weapons. Today, Sea Baby is no longer just a drone, but a multi-purpose platform that can perform remote mining, on which you can place various types of weapons, both multiple launch rocket systems and flying drones and large-caliber machine guns. And now it can also hit enemy helicopters and aircraft," the expert summarizes.
Recall that earlier it became known that on the night of December 5-6, the world's first battle of sea drones and air forces took place: a group of SSU sea drones Sea Baby entered into battle with russian helicopters, aircraft and patrol boats Raptor, which were trying to intercept them. Russian equipment was hit. There are killed and wounded on board, and the helicopters themselves have received significant damage and now require major repairs.
