Third of facilities that supply fuel to russian army damaged or hit – Defense Intelligence representative Yusov

A third of the facilities of the russian fuel sector have been hit or damaged as a result of special operations by Ukrainian defenders. These are facilities that supply fuel to the occupation forces.

The representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrii Yusov emphasized this in an interview with the Center for Countering Disinformation.

"There are statistics, there are open data. A third (of facilities in the russian federation - Ed.) are damaged or hit to one degree or another. There are big problems with restoration, because we are talking about imported equipment, taking into account the sanctions, there are big problems with the supply of this equipment," said Yusov.

The representative of the Defense Intelligence reminded of the restrictions on the import of fuel and lubricants into the russian federation, which indicates that the enemy is feeling the consequences of attacks and sanctions.

Yusov emphasized that when talking about attacks, we are not talking about civilian facilities. We are talking about oil refineries that fuel russian military equipment, sell petroleum products, and finance aggression against Ukraine.
